About Me
Brodie is one of the most renowned glamour photographers & educators in Australia. Based in Western Australia he has a well earned reputation photographing some of Australia’s most talented women for over 15 years. His work has taken him around the world and he has been published internationally in print magazines for the best part of a decade.
“I have dedicated the last 15 years to be the best I can be to make my clients look and feel amazing on camera.”
In 2013/14 Brodie was the official Director of Photography for the womens Legends Football League Australia touring the country.
“I absolutely love meeting new people, and there’s no bigger reward than seeing the smiles on the faces of my clients after bringing their vision to life.”
As a high-end retoucher Brodie has also been recognised for his post-production abilities and techniques and believes that subtlety is paramount when it comes to editing the female form. He maintains a realistic approach to keep you looking like you.
“In an industry plagued with ulterior motives, I hold myself accountable to a much higher standard of professionalism and I have the utmost respect for each and every client. It’s a real privilege to be in my position and I take it very seriously.”
Brodie founded the “DON’T TOUCH THE MODELS” movement, advocating and demanding a better standard of professionalism when working with models. It’s not just about touching, it’s a whole methodology and set of guidelines for providing a safe and respectful work environment. (a book is in progress).
